PASTOR JIMMY FRY
Jimmy has been married to his wife, Andrea since 2004 and they have three children Ajalyn, Maria, and Judah. He was licensed by Free Christian Church of God in September 2009 and became the Youth Pastor and assistant Worship Minister in January 2010. On January 1, 2012 Jimmy was added to the full time staff as the Youth and Worship Pastor and in 2016 became the Associate Pastor over Ministries and Missions. In 2020 he and his father along with the leadership of the church began his transition to Senior Pastor.
PASTOR JIM FRY
Pastor Jim has been married to his wife, Lisa since 1980. They are the parents of four children: Amanda, Jimmy, Angie, and Jacob. Jim graduated from Paulding High School in 1976 and Grace Bible College in 1980 with a Bible/Theology major and a minor in Greek. Jim served as the administrator of Chapel Christian Academy in 1981-1982 and began his pastoral ministry in 1982 with the WKNC circuit churches. He was an original member of the Singing Fry Family for 16 years. In July 1986 he began an adventure of faith, starting the Free Christian Church with the help of 20 people of promise and the leading of God who makes all things possible. He currently serves as Pastor Emeritus of Free Christian. His experience and vigor for preaching and teaching remains a pillar of our Church.
PASTOR MIKE BAXTER
Pastor Mike and Lisa have been married since 1989. They are the parents of three daughters: Amanda, Erin, and Emily. They have attended Free Christian since 1995 and began working with the Youth in 1997. Mike became a full-time Associate Pastor in July 2002 and has moved from Youth ministry to Associate/Administration Pastor.
PASTOR CHRISTY NEHLS
Christy came to Free Christian 2001, married Tony in 1997, has two children Ethan & Elicia, and in 2002 started working in Children ministries. She became the Children’s Ministries director in 2004 and pastoral license in 2012. In 2011 she started teaching the parenting class Raising Kids with God in the Mix. In her past she owned and operated a daycare/ preschool, worked in the area school systems in reading intervention until 2010 and taught with HARC CCNO jail ministries for several years
PASTOR KEVIN VORST
Pastor Kevin has been married to his wife, Becky since 1992 and they have four children: Adam, Nicole, Tyler, and Amanda. Kevin has attended Free Christian since 1995 and became the Assimilation Pastor in 1999. His duties include welcoming new members to the congregation and answering any questions they may have. He is the Pastor of Building and Grounds. Kevin is employed full time at Unverferth Mfg., Kalida, Ohio.
