You are invited to a special Christmas Mission Market for all ages! Wednesday, December 11th, Free Christian says Merry Christmas to your family with a complementary Christmas dinner with all the fixings, music, shopping with a purpose, and a kid's “Snow Glow Room!” After enjoying this fun, relaxing and Holy Spirit-filled night, it has been said by many, year after year, “Now it feels like Christmas!”
The Mission Market supports local and global missions. Each vendor booth has a mission along side it and will have a variety of unique items made by our own Free Christian family members! It’s the season for giving and what a great way to get your Christmas list knocked out by supporting missions!
The meal will be served 5:30-7pm. Shopping booths, live music and kids “Snow Glow Room” will be from 6pm-8pm!
Mission – Mexico Children’s Sponsorship
Ladies from Free Christian will have yummy treats that will get your Christmas sweet tooth going! The proceeds for these items will go towards the Children in Mexico that our church sponsors monthly. Sponsorships include food, water, medical attention, clothes and most importantly, the gospel! At this booth you are able to purchase not only baked goods, but you can sponsor a child too!
Mission – Children’s Lantern
Anthony & Co. (Tony Nehls) will be bringing his hand poured soy candles and wax melts for you to smell and enjoy the colors and scents of the season. These candles bring light, peace and joy to many people, and it’s a perfect match up with Children’s Lantern as they bring light, peace and joy to so many foster and adoptive children and parents. All proceeds from this booth will go to Children’s Lantern. Mission – This is Hope - Uganda
Cindy Young will be providing unique one-of-a-kind pieces that have been hand made by people all over the world. Hand carved nativities, jewelry, blankets and much more will be for sale at this booth. This is Hope takes care of medical and physical needs in orphanages and serves adults with special needs too. A ministry extension of This is Hope is Christ Compassion. It is a group who get together once a month and sew hygiene items and put together birthing packs for women in Uganda. They will have items for sale as well to help support the materials needed to make the hygiene kits. Need an extra unique gift? This is Hope will be the booth for you!
Mission – Free Christian VBS
This booth will have Free Christian Apparel! Made by our very own Alex Keim and Tanna Ellert. Crew neck sweatshirts, t - shirts and ball caps will be available for purchase. Adults, you don’t need to wait another 6 months for VBS carmel corn. The kitchen crew will be making fresh for the market and It will be available for purchase at this booth too! All proceeds from this booth will go towards funding VBS.
Mission - Continental Lifewise
Life Wise Continental will be giving you the opportunity to help wrap the books and Bibles that will be given to the program’s students for Christmas. You will also be able to purchase these items for yourself!
Jessica Okuly is our resident gardner and she will be providing festive plants for you to purchase for the plant lover in your life! All of her process will go towards Life Wise Continental.
Mission - Hands of Hope Crisis Pregnancy Center in Paulding, Ohio
Giving hope and help to mothers in all stages of motherhood. They go into schools and teach abstinence education. Heart beat ultrasounds and other needs that mom and baby have are given through Hands of Hope. Kristie Stollsteimer will have Mary Kay gift baskets, hand and foot cream sets for purchase. Special orders will be taken too. Our skin needs extra love and care this time of year, just like babies need extra love and care! A perfect match-up, as all proceeds from this vendor will go to Hands of Hope Pregnancy Center.
Mission – Christmas for Needy Families
Back again, we will have a “Kids Snow Glow Room” In this room there will be activities like snowball dodgeball, crafts, life-size snow globe for kids to play in, minute-win-it games, hair tinsel, and of course all under neon and blacklight! It is free for your kids to come in and play but there will be a few items to purchase and the proceeds will go towards Free Christian’s Youth group supplying Christmas for families in need.
Mission - Homebound elderly patients
Free Christian Kids have made tie blankets to give to homebound individuals who are without families. They are cared for by in home care nurses and aids. We partnered with Ashley Snyder, a nurse who supervises the care of these patients, to bring a cozy and beautiful handmade blanket from our Wednesday night Victory Ranger’s kids. You can sponsor one of these blankets at the market for $10.00. To cover the costs of this special gift. You will be given the name of the person receiving the blanket to remember to pray for them as they go through the holidays without family.
Missions - Covering School Lunches
Ayden Moore has a heart for kids who have not been able to afford school lunches through no fault of their own. When you purchase the fishing leurs Ayden has painted, you will help him cover the cost of the lunches and bring a smile to kids faces, who normally don't go through the lunch line and get a regular lunch like their peers do. Please support this young mans passion to care for these kid who need an extra hand up to get them through their day!
